Easy Thread Eggs

You Will Need:

- Thread, many colours, many lengths (embroidery floss works well)
- Small round balloons
- Liquid starch

Directions:

1. Blow up balloons and tie them.
2. Dip thread into liquid starch. Let soak for a minute or so.
3. Remove excess starch from thread with your fingers and place on the balloon.
4. Invent patterns, crisscross or wrap the threads on the balloons. Be sure to use many colours of thread and cover the whole balloon.
5. Hang them somewhere to dry. You could tie another thread or string to the neck of the balloon to help with this.
6. Once completely dry, carefully pop the balloon inside and remove it. If it doesn’t come out easily, that’s okay – just leave it inside your “egg”!
